Our Story
Chris & Melissa met in college in 2016. They were both 16 and training to be hairstylists. Chris was aspiring to be the next Vidal Sassoon…Melissa was just going with the flow! Melissa liked Chris, Chris liked Melissa! Within hours of meeting they were glued at the hip. Hardly a day went by that they didn’t meet up.
A few years on and they both decided that, actually, “hairdressing isn’t all that”! In a complete career change, Chris started training as a plumber and Melissa went into Banking. How things have changed!
Chris proposed to Melissa in 2021, while visiting Writtle in Essex, the village that was his childhood home. Very fortunately for him, she said, “Yes”!!
Together, Chris & Melissa have been lucky to have enjoyed many holidays in the sun, with plenty of Mojitos and, of course, Sex on the Beach!
They have also enjoyed city breaks & road trips together across Europe; Oktoberfest in Munich being a highlight of their road trip adventures, and Rome and Paris being their favourite city breaks so far.
Chris & Melissa moved into their first home together in 2022 and have recently added Penelope, the mischievous Cavapoo, to their growing family.
Chris & Melissa have enjoyed a recent trip with Penelope to the Cotswolds and are looking forward to many more adventures together, as a family.
So there it is, nearly 10 years later!
We really hope you can join us on our special day - 28th March 2026 - which will be 10 years, almost to the day, that we first met. We can’t wait to share it with you. xx
